A footman who served the late Queen for decades and was trusted to walk her corgis, has left royal service.
Ian Robinson, stayed on after Elizabeth II’s death in 2022 to serve King Charles III, but left the household last week.
There won’t be a big announcement or party for Ian, only those higher up get that. He arrived without ceremony, and left the same way.
He served our late Queen to the very end, and was with her at Balmoral.
A life of royal service that ought to be marked. The late Queen valued loyalty and dedication above almost everything.
I wish him well, and like all those who respected our late monarch, thank him for the time he dedicated to her. Good luck to Ian.

God bless the humble who serve others, not for flashy awards & glorious accolades but for the self-satisfaction of knowing their efforts left an enduring impact of a job faithfully done.
Hopefully, he’ll be given some sort of decoration for such long service.
